COVID-19 Outbreak at Phosphate Company Sparks Panic at Ma’an Government Hospital
September 2, 2023
In a breaking development, 25 individuals have been confirmed to be infected with the COVID-19 virus, all of whom are employees of the Phosphate Company. This has triggered a state of panic at the Ma’an Government Hospital.
We urge everyone to refrain from visiting the hospital unless it is an absolute necessity. The hospital has been cordoned off by the gendarmerie, and entry is strictly restricted to extreme emergency cases only.
Dr. Walid Al-Rawad, Director of Ma’an Government Hospital, confirmed the arrival of these 25 cases, and so far, three of the patients are exhibiting elevated temperatures. Comprehensive testing is underway, and it is impossible to determine their COVID-19 status until all necessary examinations are completed.
Stay tuned for further updates on this developing situation.
