Souk Jara – The Famous Weekend Market in Amman
Souk Jara is one of the most famous local markets in Jordan and a must-visit destination for tourists from all around the world. This vibrant Amman weekend market takes place every Friday during the spring and summer seasons, starting in May and ending in October.
Located on Rainbow Street in Jabal Amman, Souk Jara was launched in 2005 by the Jabal Amman Residents Association in cooperation with the Greater Amman Municipality.
At Souk Jara, you can explore a wide range of traditional Jordanian handicrafts, handmade products, cultural souvenirs, and local artwork.
