We just came back from Jordan, so I want to share some recommendations! 🇯🇴✨
-
We spent 5 days in Jordan, and we think it’s the perfect time to visit all the important places by car. We visited Amman, saw Mount Nebo with a beautiful view, swam in the Dead Sea, visited Petra and Wadi Rum, and spent some time on the beach in Aqaba.

The internet in Jordan was available almost everywhere, except in Wadi Rum. We bought a SIM card at the airport with 30GB for 10 JOD. But if you only use maps and messages, an eSIM with 3GB is enough. We used Monte eSIM, and the coverage was good. Here’s a discount code for $3 off your first purchase: QI3M3Au2. With this, you can buy 3GB for $3.5.

We booked a car with Jordan Tours Net, and the driver, Diaa, was great. The price was good, but remember, you need to pay 4.5 JOD for airport parking. The car worked well and was comfortable.

Wadi Rum – We stayed at Mazayen Camp, and it was amazing! There are many camps in Wadi Rum, but we recommend this one because of its location. Some camps are on busy roads, some have a bad view, and some are too big with too many lights, so you can’t see the stars. Mazayen Camp was quiet and perfect for stargazing 🌌✨. Diaa also showed us some beautiful places during the tour. The dinner and breakfast were really good. It’s a great place if you want a peaceful stay with a nice view. The price was also very good!

Petra – If you want to visit Petra without too many people, now is the perfect time! We entered at 9 AM, and there were only a few people. A photo like this in the high season would be impossible!
-
Aqaba – Honestly, we were not very impressed. The resorts are beautiful, but people were not as friendly as in other parts of Jordan. Everywhere else, people were kind and helpful, but in Aqaba, many people were too pushy. On the beach, we couldn’t relax because people kept coming to talk to us. If you go to Aqaba, we recommend staying in a hotel with a private beach.
-
Mount Nebo – At first, we were not sure if we should visit, but it turned out to be a beautiful place with an amazing view! We really recommend it ⛰️.
-
Dead Sea – We went to a nice beach near the location I marked. It was a really good spot! 🧜♂️ They have showers for 3 JOD, but you can try to negotiate.
-
Amman Citadel – In winter, it closes earlier than the time shown on Google Maps. The last entry is 5 PM.
We had a great time in Jordan, and we really recommend Jordan Tours Net and our driver Diaa!
