Farah village in Ajloun
Al-Hashimiyah (Farrah) is a village located in Ajloun Governorate within the remote Shafa municipality. Known for its scenic mountainous terrain, the area is rich in olive, fig, almond, grape, and apple orchards, as well as a diverse array of forest trees. The village holds a rich history and heritage, with tales passed down through generations. Originally known as Farrah, the village’s name was changed to Al-Hashimiyah in 1973 following a royal decree.
