  • People in Ramtha and Daraa speak a similar language, and many families are related.
• From Homs to Amman
  • Distance: About 275 km.
  • Time: 4-5 hours by car.
• From Aleppo to Amman:
  • Distance: About 450 km.
  • Time: 6-7 hours by car.

Syria is very close to Jordan, but each country has a different government and lifestyle. Jordan is a safe country and is not affected by the problems in Syria or the Middle East.
