Jordan Pass

JordanPass is a tourism initiative by the Jordan Tourism Board that offers a convenient and cost-effective way for travelers to explore the major tourist sites in Jordan. It is a digital pass that includes visa entry fees, waives the visa requirement, and provides entry to over 40 popular tourist attractions in Jordan, including Petra, Jerash, Wadi Rum, and many others.

The JordanPass comes in three different categories: JordanPass – Short Visit, JordanPass – Classic, and JordanPass – Explorer, each with varying durations and inclusions. The Short Visit pass is designed for travelers staying in Jordan for 1-3 days, the Classic pass is suitable for those staying for 4-8 days, and the Explorer pass is tailored for travelers staying for 9 or more days.

The JordanPass not only simplifies the entry process for tourists by waiving the visa requirement, but it also provides cost savings as it covers the visa fee and includes admission fees to various tourist sites, which can add up individually. Additionally, the pass includes a digital guidebook that provides detailed information about the included attractions, maps, and helpful tips for exploring Jordan.

The JordanPass can be purchased online from the official website, www.jordanpass.jo, and it is recommended to purchase it in advance before your trip to Jordan. Once purchased, the pass is delivered electronically via email and can be presented on a mobile device or printed for scanning at the included attractions.

It’s important to note that the JordanPass does not cover transportation, accommodation, meals, or any other expenses beyond the admission fees to the included attractions. However, it can be a cost-effective option for travelers who plan to visit multiple tourist sites in Jordan and want to streamline their entry process.
